The Fred Eaglesmith Show

It was a dark, and blustery night as we wound our way through the hill country. We happened upon a gate, a community with their own airport and residents with an affinity for flying assuming with the various scattered hangars we passed. As we followed a vehicle who had been our entry into this stowed away neighborhood, we came upon a hanger turned Pilot’s Pub, our venue for the evening.  Inside a bar with libations and a stage. Not one attendee seemed to be in our age bracket, people looked, but knew we were into it as they were. We found somewhat comfortable chairs in the center. It was intimate setting what was soon to prove a magical evening with the attitude, grit, stories and musical styling’s of Fred Eaglesmith and Tif Gin. I will admit I was only a casual fan before. However, this first time seeing them in concert changed that. Their live show was outstanding, excellent stage presence and rapport with one another. Do yourself a favor check out their music and catch a show. Two songs I would start with if your a first time listener and personal favorites of mine are, Cigarette Machine by Fred Eaglesmith and Little White Pills by Tif Ginn.

    1. No kidding, that is real cool to hear. His songwriting is excellent, definitely some stories that leave you with some haunted visuals.
